The guy who invented Jesus Christ HA did that piss you off or make you laugh? Seriously though, I'll never talk religion or politics with womeone unless I want to piss them off(the usual reason) or unless I respect them and believe they can THINK FOR THEMSELVES and participate in an intelligent conversation. And I'll never do it on a frickin computer.
Like I said before, preferably heavy. I guess maybe by today's standards I'm oldschool metal; I still love "old" Metallica & Megadeth, Pantera, Motley Crue etc. all the way up to Fear Factory, Devil Driver, Soilwork, Slayer, Mudvayne and Slipknot. however I go with anything good, like Zeppelin is the shit, even some Gordon Lightfoot on occasion. Got to point out though I'm not a big fan of Rap... no instruments and barely even the english language. And to me country has become more of a boy band genre, they're mostly performers not musicians in the traditional sense. Feel free to disagree with me because...well... like I care what you think-you're the one looking for my opinion after all LOL
Major Kevin Smith fanatic(caught the Vulgarathon 06 this year too), The Professional & Predator are some all time favs. I also like LOTR, Bram Stocker's Dracula, Underworld series, 13th Warrior(love vampire and gothic type movies)Hellraiser, The Cube, House of 1000 Corpses & Devil's Rejects and old time Horror(the originals of the past few years "hits"). Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers. American History X is a must, so is Memento and Butterfly Effect, weird ass movies that make you pay attention and think are always good(sorry target audience of America, I have an attention span)and I love comedies too, I mean who doesn't like to laugh-butt I like some cheezy shit too, like Mel Brookes Robin Hood Men In Tights and Spaceballs, Hot Shots 1 & part Deux, Strange Brew Koooo koo koo koo koo koo koo kooo! Damn you get the idea
Family Guy nut, I think I got just about everyone I know hooked on Seth McFarlane. Other than that I get into the thinking and attention span thing again. Law and Order, House, Bones, CSI, and some "nerdy" shows like the Stargates. However as of now Football season is starting soon and the Cowboys are off to a good start. That is one plus to being stuck in Amarillo for work right now, the Cowboys are always on TV. Gotta watch SX and MX, History and Discovery channels, MythBusters, Dirty Jobs and Future Weapons. DIY and New Yankee Worshop keep me occupied too.
I don't seem to read nearly as much as I used to. Butt my interests coincide with my movie preferences. I read some Dark Pools series, Ulysses, right now I'm doing my damndest to finish "The Cases That Haunt Us" a book written by an FBi profiler giving his opinion on unsolved cases throughout history.
Anybody who managed to find something they loved in life and then build thier lifestyle around that whatever it may be. The only person that comes to mind right now is Dimebag Darrell (RIP). He loved music, did it with his bro, always had fun doing it(on his terms not $)and always tried to share his life and happiness with anyone around him. A cool shit through and through.
