Frienemy on Facebook
FREN.uh.mee = A friend who acts like an enemy; a fair-weather or untrustworthy friend.
It all started back in January or Febuary of 2005 when like minded friends Kent Christen, Taylor Curto, and Chad Ramler decided to start a band. After all being in bands previous they decided to come together and write music that just isn't good but entertaining and well thought out. Generic yet original, and all at the same time not relying on image or fancy gimmicks to sell the band, by letting the music speak for itself. In the winter and spring of 2006 Frienemy filled out their lineup when Josh Brix and Brandi Ridlon joined the band. Josh’s heavy bass lines, crazy antics and Brandi’s hard hitting vocals filled out and shaped FREN.uh.mee into what it is today.
FREN.uh.mee has a two song demo released currently and it can be picked up for free at any of their shows. “Smile†has been featured, and is still played on Rockin’ 101’s Homegrown show. Along with being played on the radio FREN.uh.mee has been mentioned and complimented in the St. Cloud Times, St Cloud State Chronicle, and on various Pod Casts. They have played many venues across central Minnesota and into the Minneapolis/St. Paul Region. After hitting the scene FREN.uh.mee has gained many fans, and their fan base grows with every show. Winning over audiences and receiving great comments from professionals and concert goers.
With the release of their EP Basement Tracks FREN.uh.mee as recieved great praise and radio play on Rockin 101's Homegrown. Currently FREN.uh.mee is playing the local scene as well as writing new material. Look for new music to be coming REAL SOON.
