I am here for Friends

About Me

Reincarnationist/universalistic; believe that God is THE universal force and is expressed in human terms through love; Former Baptist pastor; Ordained, 1976; BA, Sec. Ed/Soc. Stds. M. Div. Pastoral Ministries and Counseling; Heaven is all around us. Life is a schoolhouse. We never stop learning...or at least never should. I am an ocassional re-enactor. It is great fun. I'd do it more often if I had the time. For those of you who love, or even just like, history, give it a try! I highly recommend it. AND you get to dress up in really cool costumes!!My family background includes Norwegian, English, Scots (clans McDonald, McAlister, Stewart and McClean), and God knows what else...Paternal side (Hilton/Duckworth)descended from the Barons Hylton of Hylton Castle and Adm. Sir John Thomas Duckworth, baronet, kb. Very much involved in the founding of English colonies in North America and Caribbean, and the later defense of the Empire; Maternal side (Horton/Lampman) came somewhat later, and were more inclined to rebelliousness against the Crown (black sheep!).
I edited my profile with Thomasâ€,, Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Other re-enactors, esp. 18th century types(men and women); those having an interest in history or metaphysics/spiritualism. I'm also interested in making new friends, pen-pals, etc. Should one be curious, my reenactment persona is loosely based upon my ancestor Adm. Sir John Thomas Duckworth, Bart, kb (1747-1817). I role-play an English gentleman who seeks to defend the integrity of king and empire to misguided colonials. We are sanquine that unity shall be preserved, as it were. God save the King!
