About Me

DJ Splack
If the club is CrUUUUUNK or your 12s are about to blow your trunk off the hinges, beware! Its just DJ Splacks Mix CD playing in the system. Dubbed as Mr. Club Banger himself, Floridas own DJ Splack is making noise with his turntables. DJ Splack, a Miami native, is continuing to do big things. Known from New York to Chi-town all the way down to the tips of the Keys. With a street buzz that continues to grow, DJ Splack has released tons of cds, of what Splack calls Mega mix CDs, in less than half a year. He is best known for his Dirty South Street Mix and Club Banger series of mix tapes. With hosts, drops, freestyles, and exclusives from Lil Jon, Baby of Cash Money, Lil Scrappy, Archie Eversole, Sean Paul of Young Bloods, Bloodraw, Mike Jones, Trilleville, Sammy Sam, Ladye j, Mannie Fresh and many more, you can see why his CDs are so requested. Recently, Splack added an Indies Time to Shine Series, for independent artist. He also has added a series entitled Ghetto R & B, and Coast 2 Coast which gives homage to all hip hop regardless of whos rapping. Most recently he was awarded the Tru Grinder Award by Tampa Bay Area Music Conference.Growing up in the streets of Miami Splack later moved to Quincy, Florida, near Tallahassee. Splack began deejaying at the tender age of thirteen, after someone broke into his house and stole his 808 Drum machine that he used to produce beats for local groups. He didnt give up. He did what most DJs do; sharpen his mixing and blending skills on a daily basis to learn the basic fundamentals of deejaying. Splack then began to pave the way for his future, by paying his dues, doing parties and dances for free. At the age of sixteen he became one of the youngest deejays to spin the turntables at a local club in Quincy, Florida. At the age of eighteen Splack began to DJ on the radio on a live mix show. On the radio Splack went blackballed, because he playing and breaking a lot of music. In radio, this is a no, no. So, he began to refocus his efforts and his attention. At clubs Splack would be the center of everyones attention. He would DJ using four turntables. People would stop dancing and just look at him to check out his flashy deejay skills. Splack would spin on all four tables at the same time cutting and flashing the records like no one could believe. Known for his ability to keep the club crunk, Splack began to put himself on the map. He has been spinning in clubs all over the South.By the age of twenty-five most people in the area new about this deejay that they call Splack, but he wanted to push the envelope even further. After giving away thousands of mega mix-cds over the years, Splack decided to start selling his CDs after a guy from Atlanta mistakenly thought his CD was a DJ Jelly CD. Splack took that as a compliment and proceeded further.Later he joined forces with Big Cee Jay of Tampa to launch GTP. GTP is made up of a coalition of deejays in the Florida area that are known for breaking music. Thus, Splack prides himself of his inclusion of independent artists, many who now have record deals, were on his mix cds when no one knew of them. Together, fellow DJs and business partners, Big Cee Jay and J-Holla formed GTP. GTP has become a household name in the Florida market. GTP now holds an bi-annual conference in the Tampa Bay area.Splack has a large following on his live internet radio show on www.365live.com. Splack is also one of few djs nationally that can do mix dvds and screwed dvds. Look out for the moves that he has in the works, of which, all are top secret. He may shock a few nay Sayers.
