Just call me Captain 4 Tacos

About Me

My name is Daniel. I am for all intensive purposes a graduate of San Francisco State, in broadcasting. Now that I'm done with school its time to figure out what to do with my life, but thats a decision that I'd like to make after a few Sierra Nevadas. I've traveled to some cool places around the world, most recently the Philippines for a month. I suggest that EVERYONE go there, especially if you're Filipino. I've got a lot to say about a lot of different things, from the obscure to the philisophical. I'm an agnostic; i do believe in ideas such as karma and something mystical that science can not explain.P.S. You gonna eat that??
This is something that I did at State. Its for an on-campus restaurant called "The Vista Room".

My Interests

Broadcasting, HM, sports, food, Food, FOOD! thinking too much is a hobby of mine, acting (not so much anymore)

I'd like to meet:

SHINING, HAPPY, PEOPLESend me a message stating your name, number, serial number, how tall you are, and whether you're susceptible to any diseases. The kind of people i like to meet are un-assuming,un-pretentious, good people.
You are now marked on my profile visitor map!

Music:

a bunch of totally random stuff...most people say I have bad taste in music. I listen to the radio all the time so i'm one of those people who will hear a song, recognize it, know the words and not have a clue who does it. The last cd I bought was Billy Joel's greatest hits. My favorite album is Who's Next, by The Who. The album I've listened to more than any other recently is the Vanilla Sky soundtrack.

Movies:

Finally Someone Calls out George Bush

The most well thought out words for George Bush that I've ever heard on mainstream media. Lost in Translation, beauty and the beast (shut up) is the best disney movie, lord of the rings (inspiring), kindergarden cop (delightful), Terminator 2 (adrenaline pumping), as good as it gets (charming), Shawshank Redemption, Finding Nemoand many more. Off the top of my head, I would say that the one movie which best reflects how I see the world is Vanilla Sky.

Television:

Food Network, ESPN anything (unless its college related), Conan O' Brien, Discovery Channel, Just Shoot Me, Smallville, Law and Order (sometimes), CSI, Oprah (yeah I watch oprah sometimes, you know you do too :), LOST (just bought season 1 and two in Manilla)

Books:

very few.....not too much fiction......I've never been much of a reader. Could never really concentrate long enough. Maybe its ADD or something. I do like to buy books at borders from the on sale section......7 bucks for the complete works of Shakespear that I would buy and subsequently never read. However, Bonfire of the Vanities, Da Vanci Code, Angels and Demons, The Story of Philosphy, are some recent ones I've read.

Heroes:

I find inspiration from a lot of different people. People who follow their dreams, people who fight through adversity to achieve something they want. People who think outside themselves enough to realize that we are all connected AND then go out and try to help our community.
