Greetings from Mutantville Productions the home of the Mutantville Players!!! Please drop in and to the website at www.mutantville.com and say hello. We like to bark loudly sometimes, but we don't bite, it's all done in fun. We all really just want to have a great time doing and talking about our greatest love - playing music, painting, photography, martial arts. Let's not forget movies and movie-making. We prefer to call it - filmmaking. When I say we, I'm talking about the three co-producers, or co-pilots on the Mothership of Horror, Brento, Streebo, And Geo Swanko. In case you can't tell us apart yet, I'll give you the quick low-down on the founding fathers of the Mutantville Players as best I can.Johnny Brento was the mastermind behind the merger of Mutantville Productions during the creation of Zombie Hunter. Zombie Hunter was a 35 minute direct-to-market horror spoof. It pokes fun at the recent zombie craze of horror theatrical films with the use of cutting edge of technology to merge live actors with computer generated zombies. If you've seen the first C For Chaos trailer, then you should remember the dazzling array of special effects that Brento brilliantly sprinkles throughout our first epic horror film, C For Chaos. All those great lightning bolts and flashes of light are all due to Brento's PC wizzardry. Oh yeah, if you pause the C For Chaos 2005 teaser trailer, you can catch a glimpse of Brento in action as the living urban legend itself - the enigmatic Numbers Killer. What I like best about Brento is that he nevers loses his enthusiasm and spontenaety while keeping the drive to stay at the cutting edge of PC technology.Geo Swanko is the resident maestro of photography and cinematography. On the set, Geo is known as the human tripod - it's not what you're thinking - he's very steady and stable working the camera. Geo has a strong eye for composition always ensuring the most depth with the best compositions available to his lens. That's why he's the director of photography. "D.P." as they are referred to in movie jargon. We were talking about "D.P." on the set the other day and someone was saying "D.P." really meant something else, but I didn't believe him. Well Geo is also known as "G - O" as in "what's my name?" He'll pull that on you if you're not paying attention. During filming he keeps moving in a cinematographic flow of perpetual motion. He's also working very closely with the composer Doctor Mindbender on the musical score to the film C For Chaos. Their music in the original C For Chaos trailer has been described as minimalistic, experimental, gothic and operatic - by me I guess. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's kind of like Danny Elfman swallowed Phillip Glass and rewrote the theme to John Carpenter's Halloween. Trust me, it's great! And then there's Streebo Majic, the Madman of Mutantville. That's me. I'm the number one loud mouth and resident horror buff. Meaning no disrespect to my two ultra talented partners, but I would dare say that I am the resident scribe and all around "maker-upper" as Neil Gaiman would say. That's mainly because I don't have any other talents to fall back on. I was never as talented with music as my two partners. But I've got more majical storytelling secrets in Streebo's vault of horror than you can shake a boom-stick at! I think it's safe to say that on the Mutantville Mothership, everyone likes horror, but I love it! So if you're one of those people that likes to talk about rare horror and swap recommendations from any sub-genre of horror, please stop by the Horror Message Board and tell me about your favorite scary movie of all time. Or join in the discussion on the distinction between horrors and thrillers. I never claim to be good at what I do. I just enjoy myself while I do it and I hope you do as well.I feel it is extremely unjust to go without mentioning so many others that comprise the heart and soul of the Mutantville Players including Doctor Savini, Doctor Mindbender, and Michael Scott Thomas. There's also Rick, Phil, Frankie, Nicole, Steve, Amy, Kirk, Adriana, Tony, Katrina, Alice, Jenna, Grant, Andrew, Julie, Latonica, Trey, Kevin and Debra, Belton and NVAIN for the kick booh-tay song used in the teaser trailer. I could easily go on all night and still not list everyone that has helped make Mutantville Productions a success. Those are just a few of the people that work so hard to bring quality entertainment to you in all its forms in the inimitable MVP way. Thanks for stopping in. We hope you enjoy your visit. You may even want to stay here. If not, then we'll hunt you down and wake you up in the middle of the night to the gentle sound of roaring chainsaws. Scarface, anyone?Remember, when you're a Mutantville Player, everyone knows you're an M..V..P!!!
