Gatlin was formed in late 1994, and existed in four different lineups until their final "serious" show on December 10th, 2004. Throughout the years, the music changed from old-school metal to modern rock, but the raw energy, passion, and desire to give people the best show possible never changed. They were always well known for their powerful and extremely energetic live shows, which saw them selling out every major local concert venue in Cleveland at one time or another. They put out four CD releases regionally, selling out of thousands of copies of each, to the point that only their last release, "The EP", is still available in print anywhere. The band continues on to this day in a much less serious version, playing shows and writing music whenever they feel like it, rather than doing so under the exceptionally scrutinous eye of the music industry, and the pressure of trying to achieve the ever-elusive record deal.
