Billy Love is that talent/soul. Taking his Detroit soul background and brings his unique blend of R&B and traditional jazzy scat styling to house music. When Love performs it is electric. You can feel him channeling talented vocalists from Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye to bop singers Lambert Hendricks and Ross and Johnny Hartman.
Bill incubated and wrote in 2002 he returned to the scene with Its the Life on his own UFM imprint via the now disbanded MGT Records in the U.K. It remained an underground cult favorite until Kevin Hedge got wind of it via his compilation CD UFM collective Live during the 2002 DEMF, Fast forward to Spring 2005. Loves latest foray is his current release on West End records as the front man for the Kings of Late Night, a rotating collective of talented musicians, noted DJs and stalwart producers.
