About Me

My name is Monte. I was born in a log cabin just like Lincoln. I grew up in Tucson but left for California to find the girl of my dreams. I have an undescribable appreciation for nature. I'm scared of getting old, because I'm only good at being young. Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens make me smile... I likey stunt driving, competetive axe throwing, all night Vicadin fueled rock armadas and buying expensive electronics that I don't know how to use. Here are some things you should know about me.... I am a shameless self-promoter. I am a problem solver. I never finished college, but plan to soon. I am not afraid of hard work. I don't get a tan. I am obsessed with Sharks. I will put bacon on anything. I usually get naked when I drink. I love hot rods. I like when my dumbass cat humors me and sits on my lap. I sleep best when it's raining outside. I can't touch my toes. I've never gotten a speeding ticket. I like watching drummers. Sometimes I think I want to move to San Diego. I performed the wedding for my best friend on the beach in Mexico. Legally, because I am an ordained minister. I've never had broken a bone, but I've had a broken heart.

My Interests

Monte has many interests. Some of those include studying birds of prey. Meeting girls who can skank. Looking at cities from airplane windows. Getting lost in a movie. Trying to get up early for coffee on cold rainy days. Tempting fate. Baby sitting my friend Paul Volpe. New bands. Irish whiskey's. Drinking Irish whiskey's. Smokey, tire melting burnouts. Tuna fishing. Becoming a better man. Knee tumors. Justin Timberlake concerts. Getting new scars. 8 minute abs.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone, and everyone. You never know when you will meet someone who can inpact or change your life. Nascar legend Rusty Wallace, Spaceghost, and Billie Joe Armstrong...... and my Grandpa's for one more day, James Dean, or William Randolph Hearst. I would love to go to a biker bar and party with Dave Grohl for a night. And now that I think about it, I've always had a thing for Natalie Wood. JFK. I'd love to have a beer with him. Gary Busey....That might be fun.... and of course one word, "Sweetness". Walter Payton. Maybe the best person to ever walk the face of the Earth, taken away way far too soon.

Music:

Let me know what interests you, and what you like from my list. I'd love to hear. This is the soundtrack to my life. The backround to the action scenes.... the love scenes, and the filler of whats inbetween, day in and day out. Punk, ska, rap, oldies, swing, classic rock, house, and anything else gets a chance with me. But if I had to take it to a desert island...... it would be my ska/punk cd's. The list is long and well endowed, just like me, but some of the most recent additions to my collection include:Green Day;NOFX;Pepper; The Expendables;Head Automatica;Ignite;Bouncing Souls;Tiger Army:Gym Class Heros;Razorlight;TheBravery;Killers;Alkaline Trio;Nada Surf;Against Me;Fall Out Boy;OK GO;Stereophonics;Coldplay;Soviettes;Paul Okenfold;Blanks and Jones;Rise Against;Pepper; My Chemical Romance;Madness;Specials; Foo Fighters; The Walkmen; The Living End,Dash Rip Rock; Hillbillies on Speed;Juliet;Cracker;Papa Vegas;Sam Cook;Wilson Picket;G&R;No Doubt(old);Bad Religion;Let's Go Bowling;Unwritten Law;Lagwagon;Face to Face; The Stills; The Trills;Secret Machines;Midtown;Social Distortion;head automatica; The Slackers;Aggrolites;Smoking popes,Mad Caddies;(+44);Goodbye Elliot; The Almost;VHS or Beta

Movies:

It really depends on my mood, just like my music, but some of my favorites are: Big trouble in little china;anything with Jack Black or John Cusack.I like movies that keep you guessing, and have interacting plots. But the go to's are just mindlessly fun usually.... Grandma's Boy, Jaws;Days of Thunder;Memphis Belle; Far and Away;Saving Silverman;Kung Pow;Bullet In A Bible;Go;Gone in 60 Seconds;Dazed and Confused;Vanilla Sky;Gladiator;Back to the Future;Top Gun;Mall Rats;Saving Private Ryan,Bullit,Grindhouse,Stranger Than Fiction,Apacolypto

My Grandfather, who did the unthinkable and went overseas to fight in WWII.( I still feel guilty for never having to fight like he and so many others did); And just about everyrockstar out there who has ever trashed a hotel room, driven a car into a pool, od'd on something, pissed themselves on stageand said "fuck you" to the man.
