Anyone really, just read the profile. I guess it gives a pretty good surface glance and I am either a person you want to know or I'm not. I have gotten back in touch with old friends and am making some good new ones. All I ask is that you actually communicate. I try to keep up with the people that I add, so don't just add me to make your friend list bigger. Oh yeah and these people too: Cantinflas,El Chavo del 8, El Santo, Tu Mama, Tom Selleck, y La Cucaracha!
I like many styles (classical, rock, blues, country, etc.) but everbody says that. Mostly I just have to listen to it and see what I think. I do think that most music today is churned out from the corporate crap factory and the masses just eat it up because it is spoon fed to them over the radio (that's right I said it.....Ashley Simpson is not an artist). I lean towards the Blues, older country, new and classic rock and all kinds of other stuff. I don't mind people having different musical tastes than me but have some good reasons. Don't just say you like Jimi Hendrix or Green Day because it is cool to like them! Say it because you have actually listened to some of their songs. I know I have been ranting but I am a big music fan and I go off about it sometimes. One name that stands out for me is TRACY CONOVER. She is an amazing musician and a great person. She has a show almost every weekend somewhere in Texas and it is always worth the trip to check out one of her shows.
Cool points to whoever knows what movies these are from.
I don't watch much television outside of the news, the simpsons, and iron chef. They have cancelled all the good shows like The A-Team, Night Court and Star Trek anyway.
I can't list all of them because I read a lot and there so many that are awesome, but here are a few: Fate is The Hunter (Gann), Stranger to the Ground (Bach), Exodus (Ulris), The Divine Comedy (Alighieri) The Neandertal Enigma (Shreeve), Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (Verne), Les Miserables (Hugo), This Kind of War (Fehrenbach), Cosmos (Sagan), The Battle for the Falklands (Jenkins), The Rescue of Bat 21 (Whitcomb) and yes it happened very different from the movie with Gene Hackman if anyone saw it, Jane Eyre (Bronte), The Descent of Man (Darwin) Flight of the Intruder (Coonts) Mutiny on the Bounty (Norhoff) and the entire Hank the Cowdog series as well as the back of cereal boxes although their quality has gone down a bit in recent years.
