Going home to North Carolina!

I am here for Friends

About Me

Hi there! I am 27 years old, married to a great Air Force man since 2001, and have two little girls, Christiana, who just turned 4 on April 23rd, and Eileen who just turned 1 on March 4th! We are living in AK right now, due to the military, and moved here from NC. Before that, we met and married in CA, in 2001. I was raised in the Navy, and while I didn't move every two years, I did move a lot as I was growing up. The longest I have lived anywhere was WA, from 2nd grade to 10th grade, and so, I call WA my true home. I still have lots of friends there, and wish I could go back. My mom and sister still live in CA, and I try to go back there as much as possible. I hope that as time goes on, I will be able to find those friends of mine who I lost when I moved away from WA, and those that I was lucky enough to meet throughout my school years.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Most importantly, I would like to meet my grandfather on my maternal side. He died when my mom was just 10 years old, and so I never got to meet him. I also would like to meet those family members who either died before I was born, or shortly afterwards, and I don't remember them. I believe family is very important, and without it, I don't know where I would be today.

Music:

Pretty much anything, but mostly classic rock, country, and some hip hop, depends on who it is.

Movies:

The Harry Potter series, Pirates of the Caribbean, almost any Disney movie, Dogma, Tank Girl, the Star Wars series, Hellboy, Goonies, Where the Heart Is, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, there are so many more, I cant think of them, I will update as I remember them.

Television:

CSI, CSI Miami, Law and Order: SVU. I know there are more, I just cant think of them right now!

Books:

I will always read anything by J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts) and V.C. Andrews. I also like the Harry Potter series, but other than that, I read just about anything that has a good description on the back cover.

Heroes:

First and foremost, my mom and sister. They helped me through many hard times in my life. My mom has always been there for me, and told me I can come to her for anything, and regardless of the fact that she is almost 7 years younger than me, my sister is very mature, and is very important to me. The next important would be the men and women of the military. My husband is one the biggest heroes I have. Having grown up with the military, and then marrying it, I have seen many different aspects to the military life, and don't think I could live any other way.
