Cedric Benoit

..Cedric Benoit was born on October 9 in Kaplan, Louisiana. Dat's right!!! LIBRA. The son of Lawrence Benoit from Klondike Louisiana (in between Gueydan and Lake Arthur) and Mildred Benoit from Cow Island Louisiana, Cedric is the youngest member ever inducted into the Louisiana Hall Of Fame. In 2004 Cedric received the Living Legend Award in his home town of Kaplan. Multi Show of the Year winner as well as Entertainer of the Year recipient several times in Branson Missouri, Benoit has received numerous awards and accolades for his never ending passion and promotion of the GREAT State of LOUISIANA. A singer/songwriter/squeezebox master Cedric has written, arranged and produced many recording projects while performing for the past 22 years in Branson Missouri. He has three siblings, Becky, Vida and Vince. His has three children: Rocky Joseph, Heidi Noel and Luke Lawrence. His wife Anna Marie works for a resort with responsibilities that include Human Resources, Payroll and Computer needs.
