Who would have known that on the Morning of July 7, 1981 there would be born a female child destined to usher Nations into the Presence of God? If you were to ask her parents, Bishop Fritz and Bertha Cobbs, they would tell you that they knew from birth that Natasha "Tasha" Cobbs was a peculiar child. Born into a family that was structured by Christian Principles, Tasha's gifts were cultivated at a very young age. Tasha was appointed Minister of Music at her Father's church at the tender age of 13. She played, directed, instructed, and did whatever it took to make sure that the Music Ministry at Jesup New Life Ministries was excellent on a weekly basis. After serving her Father for 5 years, she ventured off to pursue her destiny. Tasha decided she would further her education, and was accepted into Clark Atlanta University. After her tenure at Clark Atlanta, she returned home to assist her Father with his growing Ministry. After 5 more years of service as her Father's Minister of Music and Youth Pastor, she then heard the call to move back to Atlanta to continue her pursuit of destiny. On January 15, 2006 Tasha packed her bags and traveled on the road to purpose. She partnered with the dReam Center church of Atlanta, lead Pastor william h. Murphy, iii, where she has served as the Executive Director of Worship for 3 years. She travels with and is mentored by her Pastor william h. Murphy, iii, and has had extensive training and teaching on the true revelation of Worship. The powerful ministry of Tasha Cobbs can be heard on several projects, such as: Bishop Morton Presents-In Pursuit of your Glory song entitled "For Your Glory"; the Sound- Another william Murphy Project song entitled "Angel's Cry" and many more. She has worked with some of Gospel's Greats: William Murphy, Paul Morton, Byron Cage, James Fortune, Kevin Bond, Lucinda Moore, Vashawn Mitchell, Ted Winn, Darlene McCoy, and Judith McCallister only to name a few! Tasha Cobbs is a "Spirit and Truth" Worshiper. She has been anointed to lead God's people into his presence. Tasha Cobbs has one desire, and that is to live a life that is pleasing to God, and puts a Smile on his face!
