Screamin' John

About Me

The nickname "Screamin' John" was bestowed upon me at the age of 17, by some older musicians that used to sneak me into bars so I could pay my dues at an early age. I played in a lot of bands after that, most notably, the Predators. At the age of 26, my band, Edenstreet, signed a recording contract with a major label just a year before a corporate takeover by a liquor company made me a tax write-off. Thanks, guys. After taking a sales position in a music store and a gig in a bluegrass band, the Hog Operation, I decided it was time to resume my education. I've since left the music store (though no one seems to believe me) and reformed the Predators, as a dirty blues band featuring former members of Edenstreet, the Hammerheads and Lovesauce & Soulbones. I'm currently attending Bellarmine University, pursuing an MBA.

My Blog

First post

Okay, now I'm on this crazy myspace thing. I'll be converting this to a band page shortly, and I plan to stream some rare Edenstreet and Predators tracks for everybody, plus some new stuff I'm working...
