I'm a cynical idealist; disenchanted by the world and the people in it, yet still a believer underneath it all. I love people, but only a select few. I'm a very picky person; I love to be by myself, but I get lonely after a while. Quirkiness and dorkiness are qualities that I love, and I myself endeavor to embody. Nothing gets to me more than people who are fake or uptight. I have a flare for the bizarre and I love sarcasm. I have a very elaborate internal world and I often get lost in my own thoughts. I feel things very deeply, but I'm no drama queen. I actually consider myself to be pretty easygoing.I don't know what I'd do without an internet connection or my mp3 player. When I was a kid, before the age of the internet, I used to spend my free time hanging around outside, reading, drawing pictures, and taking on these weird pet projects. I find some of these things now and I think "Wow, that was weird. What the hell was I thinking?" Anyway, I am a huge music lover. Music can describe my life or my feelings about things so much better than words ever could and is my companion when I feel that nobody else could possibly understand. I am a devoted fan of the band Hanson and have been to eighteen Hanson concerts to date. Bad Religion and Less Than Jake continue to be staples of my music collection. Oh, and I love Bright Eyes. Their music owns my soul.
