A Valediction: Forbidding Mourning

As virtuous men pass mildly away,
And whisper to their souls to go,

breath goes now, and some say, No:
So let us melt, and make no noise,
No tear-floods, nor sigh-tempests move;
'Twere profanation of our joys
To tell the laity our love.
Moving of th' earth brings harms and fears,
Men reckon what it did, and meant;
But trepidation of the spheres,
Though greater far, is innocent.
Dull sublunary lovers' love
(Whose soul is sense) cannot admit
Absence, because it doth remove
Those things which elemented it.
But we, by a love so much refined That
ourselves know not what it is,
Inter-assurd of the mind,
Care less eyes, lips and hands to miss.
Our two souls therefore, which are one,
Though I must go, endure not yet
A breach, but an expansion,
Like gold to airy thinness beat.
If they be two, they are two so As stiff
twin compasses are two;
Thy soul, the fix'd foot, makes no show
To move, but doth, if th' other do.
And though it in the center sit,
Yet, when the other far doth roam,
It leans, and hearkens after it,
And grows erect, as that comes home.
Such wilt thou be to me, who must,
Like th' other foot, obliquely run;
Thy firmness makes my circle just,
And makes me end where I begun.

Sex Trafficking is
Modern-Day SLAVERY. Human Trafficking is the illegal trade in human beings, through abduction, the use or threat of force, deception, fraud, or “sale†for the purpose of sexual exploitation and/or forced labor.
The Department of State estimates that between 18,000 and 20,000 victims are trafficked into the United States annually, excluding internal trafficking that does not involve the crossing of an international border.
The U.S. Department of Justice (2004) notes that sex trafficking is one of the largest forms of trafficking as women and children are often the most vulnerable members or society. Victims are bought and sold in auctions, their wares sold to consumers repeatedly, until the perpetrator sells the victims for profit.
Women are beaten and raped repeatedly until compliance with the perpetrators has been achieved. Children are kidnapped and transported for the international trade in pedophilia. Prostitutes, strippers, illegal immigrants, runaway youth, domestic servants, migrant workers and young girls may be victims of human trafficking.
South Texas Assemblies of God Women’s Ministries is in the process of creating a “safe house†for the victims of Human Trafficking in Texas. The Youth Ministries in conjunction with Women’s Ministries is asking you to help us build this Home of Hope to get these victims out of the darkness they are living in and into the protection and safety they deserve. America stands on being a free country that left slavery behind years ago but human trafficking is Modern-Day Slavery and it needs to be stopped.
