Music:

Allman Bros. Band,Govt. Mule, HAnk Sr, HAnk 3, Drive By Truckers. I realllllly dig on old school drankin country. Merle is great. Willie Nelson is my hero and favorite artist of all time. Old Crow Medicine Show is awesome. Lyle Lovett & Bonnie Raitt were one of the best shows I've ever seen. I like the "Texas" acts like Reckless Kelly, Hayes Carll, Radney Foster, Rodney Crowell... James McMurtry & The Heartless Bastards...is that the coolest name for a band or what??? I dug the Austin bands when I was there...Arc Angels are my all time fav. after Willie. Joe Ely, Scabs, Podunk, Vallejo, old Ian Moore. Who remembers the Steamboat???? I like Silvertide, Jet, Cold, Tool, NIN, other "new" rock bands too. MIles Davis, Coltrane, Aretha, JAckie Wilson, Sam Cooke...If it's good music, I like it.

Movies:

I like the typical guy stuff....Shawshank Redemption, Eastwood movies, Blues Brothers, Tarantino stuff. I like westerns. Lonesome Dove is prolly my fav of all time. My dad looked JUST like Tommy Lee Jones...not so much when Tommy Lee was playing Woodrow Call...but people stopped my dad and asked him for his autograph more than once...The resemblance was THAT strong.

Television:

I really don't watch much TV....My Name is Earl is the 1st series I've made it a point to watch in years....I'm a compulsive flipper. TV or radio....sorry. I watch Food Network cause I loooove to cook. I like getting new ideas. I watch the History Channel cause I'm a nerd like that

Books:

I'll read anything by Larry McMurtry. I've read a few Clive Cussler books. I liken those to cheesy romance novels for guys. Same as the Fabio cover books for women...'Cept action adventure instead of endless romance... I'll go in spurts where I read 5 books in a row....then not pick one up for a couple months.

Heroes:

Allen Hawthorne, Willie Nelson, the Five Time Super Bowl Champion Dallas Cowboys

Retirement ain't so bad

I think I'm drinking a lil less than before....Unless I'm on a roadtrip or at the bar....then I'm probably getting shithoused. Maybe if I wasn't so damn good at it. Well...we all have different skills...
