So I moved to NY from around Boston, MA in 2004 with my fiance Ammie - got married in '06. She's beautiful, much smarter than I am and I'd be lost like a cat in a Chinese restaurant without her.
I do miss Boston but gettin used to everything out here finally. Worked on an ambulance since 2002 and have loved it since I started. Despite all the bitching we do about our job, I really don't think there's one that can be more rewarding.
Right now I work for Rural/Metro Medicaid - sorry, MEDICAL Services providing 911 service in the City of Buffalo. So in between transporting the skin rashes and toothaches, I do occasionally have the opportunity to treat the legitimately sick and injured. It's a great job that I wouldn't give up for anything... ...except more money... or a vacation... Audi makes a nice car - sorry, no I wouldn't give it up.
