I don't limit myself to a few simple words on a page. My life is made up of variety... not predictability. My 'interests' are far more in-depth than mere letters on a website can ever truly express.

I'd like to meet:
I used to say I didn't care who I met... then I started meeting people who's sole purpose in life was to infuriate the rest of us with meaningless conversation, endless small talk and pointless babble. Since then I've made a decision, if you're going to talk to me... then please try to come up with at least one original thought. If you're going to add me, why not take the time to speak to me first? It doesn't take much effort... a few presses of a key. If you have no intention of speaking to me after you add me... don't bother, you'll be deleted in a matter of days.
Also, I don't give unlimited chances... Life's too short for unlimited forgiveness. IF I choose to allow you to be part of my life... don't think I'll allow you to waste my time.
I won't put up with your bullshit. Don't expect me to... it will never happen. If you've got a lot of issues... stay away, I've got enough of my own.
Do you think I'm arrogant? Condescending? Egotistical?
You're probably one of the people I refer to... why not try to prove you're not. Learn to think for yourself. Read great works. Quote great authors. Absorb great knowledge. But have your own great thoughts...

Music:
At one point, I had this section neatly divided into categories and representations of those genres. I have since decided that I do not wish to go through life merely filing everything away in it's own little space. Doing so destroys some of the beauty I think... it makes it more sterile... more clinical... less natural.
Echo, Concord Dawn, Gridlok, BC, Dylan, Rawthang, Dom & Roland, Technical Itch, Evol Intent, High Contrast, Cyantific, Hybrid, Omar Santana, The Playah, RotterdamTerror Corps, Portishead, Tricky, Massive Attack, DJ X, Rick West, Malicious Mike, Underworld, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, Sunny Day Real Estate, My Chemical Romance, Pretty Girls Make Graves, AFI, The Cure, KMFDM, Die Krupps, Wumpscut, Joy Division, Talib Kweli, TuPac, Mos Def, Del the Funky Homosapien, Tribe Called Quest, Slum Village, The Roots, Wyclef Jean, Modest Mouse, They Might Be Giants, Jamiroquai, Johnny Cash, Sepultura, Black Label Society, Darkest Hour, Pantera, Otep, Lacuna Coil, Kidney Thieves, Atreyu, Distillers, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits, Fugazi, Social Distortion, The Exploited, The Ramones, Fear, Talking Heads, Seether, Radiohead, White Stripes, Chevelle, Keb'Mo... and so many more that it would take too long to list them.
Movies:
I have seen and enjoyed quite a few. I prefer movies meant to get inside your head... but silliness has its place too.
Derailed, Memento, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Pi, Lord of the Rings, Fong Sai Yuk, Iron Monkey, Pulp Fiction, SLC Punk, Groove, You Got Served, Ocean's 11 & 12, Boondock Saints, Butterfly Effect, FF7
: Advent Children, KIDS, Hero, American History X, Sin City, Clerks, Mall Rats and so forth and so on.
Television:
This has slightly changed... I watch Heroes. Yeah yeah shut the fuck up. I was a comic book kid. I avoid TV... it eats the brain.
Books:
So much better than movies or television... they encourage free thought and help to develop areas of your mind you may or may not have acknowledged before.
Books help to encourage my mental freedom (which was at one point the only freedom I was allowed to experience) and so once again, I will not break them into categories and thus limiting the expression and creativity that went into the pages that they are made of.
Nietzsche, Machiavelli, Ayn Rand, Pema Chodron, Yann Martel, Dean Koontz, Steven King, Hunter S. Thompson, Shel Silverstein, Emerson, Robert Jordan, Robert McCammon, Robert Greene, et al.
I've also been known to teach myself new subjects through the use of books written about that subject. Try it some time... it's far more gratifying than watching a sitcom.
Variety is...
Heroes:
I am my own hero.
