In March of 2004 two young guys (Pieter and Kees) from Hoorn, a little city near Amsterdam, began to play music together. Because they enjoyed it so much they decided to ask a third friend (Tim) to play with them.
A friend of the drummer's father owned a studio and the band asked him for the possibility to play some songs together in his studio.
Within a couple of months a fourth friend (Robin)joined the band and in januari 2006 a fifth member (Melle)completed the band.
It was obvious that they shared the same taste of music. Their love for music from the sixties, the seventies and the music of more recent singer-songwriters and bands.
This taste of music makes BERIGHTBACK very special. The band is, in spite of their young age, influenced by music of The Who, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and many more legends.
It is clear that the band has good taste and quality, but it also proves that a lot of music made in the sixties and seventies is timeless and still very popular among a lot of (young)people.
In januari 2008 Robin (the saxophone player) left the band, this was the beginning of a new BERIGHTBACK. CHECK THEM OUT!
