About Me

Pimp out your Myspace Profile like i did at Myspacehive.com
"He had dressed himself in the height of fashion, including a gold watch. He was dressed as no California Indian ever had been before. The gold he could not eat nor drink."
Trisha Carter, Ambassador for the National Congress of American Indians says:"David has been nothing but an inspiration since the first night i met him. He is the kind of guy, kind of person, if there may be something bothering you, weighing heavily on your heart, David would love nothing more than for you to share it with him. And he will help you through it. He is a protector, a sage of wisdom, a talented artist, a wonderful performer, a provider of care...a modern day warrior. He helped me with my stage fright, lol- built up my confidence with his two strong hands. David is gorgeous, stunning in person, a picture can not catch the true nature of his beautiful self. Above everything, he is a friend. Anybody would be lucky to have him as a that, and blessed by God to have David as much more than a friend."
I am Native Californian (Chumash, Yokut, Karuk) I do my best to remind myself of the teachings but I still need that special someone to create a teamship with that wants to take that journey with me.
Mountain Dance
Since 2001 I have fought hundreds of wild land fires as a member of the elite, type one, Golden Eagles Hot Shots crew. I am now working on a wildland brush engine and running medical aides in east San Diego county.

My Interests

I am interested in lots of things. Healthy rivers, organic foods, and really old trees. Stihl Chainsaws. Destruction and rejuvenation effects of fire. Hot shower immediately followed by a cold one. Ten day fasts. Jack and Coke. Mass x acceleration = force & the principals of economy of motion. How can I get Malibu back? Music I have never heard. I love to paint portraits of people. Practicing martial arts keeps me feeling swift, supple, and focussed (thanks to all the pugilists I have encountered). My Native people, I love you all but sometimes I just want to shake the shit out of you. My paintings

I'd like to meet:

Those with words of guidance. protection and teachings that are conducive to my spiritual path. People with backbone and fortitude to stay on track when faced with non conducive temptation and have a good footing on their personal paths.

Music:

I listen to pretty much anything if the time is right, the kind of music I listen to depends on what i am doing. I love to rock out and mosh pit-it with my cousin Vincent. Hip-hop in all its variety. I love to sing all out with the Karukarara (my upriver people) while I stomp my feet in our cermonies, that's the best feeling in the whole world to me. I love music!

Movies:

I love lots of movies but my favorite are Tai Seng Videos, all the old Kung Fu flicks!

Television:

Hmmm, I just channel surf until something catches my eye. Could be the History channel, could be MTV. Whatever.

Books:

Vine Deloria tells it how it is, Dan Brown stirs it up and creates a great adventure, Don Miguel Ruiz offers simple sollutions to live by, Robert Kiyosaki keeps the cashfow positive.

Heroes:

My heros are my Great, greats. Those stories about my ancestors. I love listening to stories about the old days. My heros are people with Integrity, somewhat of a lost art these days
