Errata

About Me

“Imagine walking down a rain-soaked, dimly-lit city alley, when all of a sudden, a drunk hobo pops out from under a stack of newspapers, scaring the living shit out of you as he rants and raves about Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew saving his life. He starts to make sense and you warm to the guy – until you realise he’s not wearing any pants and those newspapers are actually cum-stained copies of Barely Legal. In between vomiting and eating what looks like a used nappy, he proceeds to tell you that the only metal CDs worth owning are Ephel Duath’s The Painter’s Palette, Dillinger Escape Plan’s Calculating Infinity and Sikth’s Death of a Dead Day.
Errata are that dirty old bum.”
- Gavin Britton, Tsunami Music, Editor
“A long overdue extension of the progressive inroads forged by Chuck Schuldiner with Death and far superior to what Italy’s Ephel Duath promised with 2006’s The Painter’s Palette, Errata move beyond modern math-metal, meshing the resultant unprecedence with Charlie Parker’s rudest dreams to create ‘jazzcore’ – a genre sometimes hinted at but never fully formed until this band.”
- Renee Tibbs, Beat <>..
