About Me

I've been a hardcore raver since back in 1992 and have a huge collection of fliers from every party I've been to. I was really into house music at first, but was quickly drawn to jungle as soon as it emerged into the scene. I've also always enjoyed live jam bands, Phish in particular, and have gone to plenty multi-day outdoor festivals of that nature. I've always been on the receiving end of music until a few years ago, after living in Baltimore for about 2 years, when I finally realized I could be the one playing it. I always wanted to be a DnB DJ, but it seemed like somewhat of an unlikely task. My girlfriend, Simetra, and I learned to spin records simultaneously, and started The Round Table crew with a couple close friends of ours. We began throwing a weekly even, Re:Birth, at The Depot in Baltimore and continued getting booked at various local events. We also started the Baltimore Drum and Bass mailing list to unite all local deejays. In January 2003 we both became 2 of the 5 rotating resident DJ's at Sonar's weekly event, Deuce, and have been doing that ever since. Finally, in April of 2003, Round Table Records was opened by Simetra and myself in Charles Village, Maryland's only all drum and bass record shop. Since then we've been running that and hosting an internet radio show on Saturdays out of the shop, via Destroyer.net. I plan on continuing what I've been doing the way I've been doing it and seeing where it takes me....

A Note From Simetra

For those who don't know, I've been able to manage Jamie's MySpace account since he's been gone. It's been 2 years now and I just think it's important to keep his profile here for his friend...
