Formed around early November of 2005, Nail the Casket is a four piece metal band from Nacogdoches Texas. Starting out as a band to kill time, which shortly changed as people saw the band at their first show at ritas. Being heavily influenced in melodic metal and deathmetal, this band brings you a band with more hooks and elements of brutality than any other east texas band in the area at the time.
Nail the Casket are just four guys wanting to show people a good time with a message leaving you with a smile on your face. They are a band slowly spreading their name throughout the east Texas area and will soon enough be playing at any venue near you.
Nail the Casket produced a Self-Titled 5 track live demo in the summer of 2006 and pretty much gave them out for free just so people could listen to their music. They have tried out a few guitarists to make a five piece, but decided that the four piece suits the band more. They now have shirts and are saving up for studio time to produce a five track e.p.
Nail the Casket have been graced to play with bands like: Forever In Despair, Upon A Burning Body, The Demonstration, Elysia, Killwhitneydead, Light This City, Nights Like These, Too Pure To Die, All Shall Perish, and Suicide Silence.
