Some of the people she's done these things with are Enya, Cyndi Lauper, Kanye West, Joan Osborne, Randy Newman, Dave Chappelle, Marshall Crenshaw, Martha Wainwright, Duncan Sheik, The Smithereens, Savoy, Julee Cruise, John Flansburgh (of They Might Be Giants), Lenny Pickett (of Saturday Night Live), and Levon Helm (of The Band).She plays regularly with Will Lee (of David Letterman), Jimmy Vivino (of Conan O'Brien), Kanye West (Live Earth, TRL, BET, etc.), G.E. Smith (of Saturday Night Live), and Garth Hudson (of The Band).On the silver screen, Erin played Sandra Mescal in the most recent Tim Robbins' film "Cradle Will Rock" and appears on the soundtrack along with PJ Harvey and Eddie Vedder. Erin has sung solo on HBO's "The Chris Rock Show" as the Hippie Chick and on Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show" as the Pretty White Girl.Erin can be heard playing solo harp most afternoons at the Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South in the Star Lounge. She has played Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and solo gigs everywhere from the Rainbow Room and the Waldorf-Astoria, to the Plaza and the St. Regis. In London, Erin recently opened for a-ha, playing solo at the Royal Albert Hall.Erin played harp on Martha Wainwright's acclaimed debut album "Martha Wainwright," as well as on the new soundtrack for "The Fantasticks," on the original Broadway cast album of Sam Mendes’ "Cabaret," in various commercials (Dunkin’ Donuts, etc.), and on MTV2’s "Wonder Showzen."Erin studied voice with Marni Nixon and at L'Ecole Hindemith in Switzerland. Erin is a founding member of the band Wicked Felina with G.E. Smith, where she is a co-writer, co-singer, and plays harps, guitars, flute, accordion, and hammered dulcimer. She is also in The Dream Jam Band, which is produced by Rick Chertoff (Cyndi Lauper, Joan Osborne, Sophie B. Hawkins, etc.). As "Erin the Red," she sings, plays harp, bass, guitar and percussion, and is a songwriter in the band. The Dream Jam Band most recently appeared at Lollapalooza 2008 and on the Sprout network (PBS KIDS).Erin writes and sings psychedelic harp songs, most with science-fiction laced lyrics, as she is a huge sci-fi buff. She also sprinkles her live performances with harp solos, Irish tunes, and even a little opera. Her songs can be heard in several films, including "Spent," with Rain Phoenix and Margaret Cho, "Bad Bride," on Oxygen, and "American Desi."Erin's played drums for Martha & the Vandellas; she plays saxophone and flute (and harp) on both the "Cabaret" (dir. by Sam Mendes) and "Honkytonk Highway" soundtracks; she plays electric guitar (and harp and flute) with G.E. Smith; she's a classically trained pianist and plays keyboards, as well as percussion, guitar and vocals, for Patti Rothberg, Will Lee, and Jimmy Vivino; she's played the fiddle with The Fab Faux (as well as harp, guitar, keyboards, vocals and percussion); she plays the bass (electric & upright) and has played bass (and harp) with Garth Hudson of The Band; and she plays accordion, the hammered dulcimer, the theremin, and even the hurdy-gurdy, which she's had the honor of playing live with Rob Hyman (co-writer of "Time after Time") and Eric Bazilian (writer of "One of Us") of The Hooters.Erin is in the upcoming film "Clear Blue Tuesday," and has several original songs in the film. She is a screenwriter on the upcoming sci-fi film "Fade To White," which is extremely exciting because it's sci-fi!She signed The Buddy Scott Trio to her label,
