Life is like a box of chocolates......

About Me

....didn’t think the suits would have me back perhaps, thought they’d have my derriere replaced by one of those cookie cutter store mannequins. Well maybe I’m not “the norm,” I’m not “camera friendly,” I don’t “wear clothes that fit me,” I’m not a “heartbreaker,” I haven’t “had sex with a woman,” I don’t know “how that works,” I guess I don’t “fall in line.” I’m not “hygienic,” I don’t “wipe properly,” I lack “style,” I have no “charisma” or “self-esteem,” I don’t “own a toothbrush” or “let my scabs heal.” I can’t “reach all the parts of my body.” When I sleep I “sweat profusely,” but I guess the powers that be will keep signing my paycheck at least until John and Jane Q viewer start to go for the remote so they can get back to watching commentators that don’t frighten children, eat their own dandruff, and don’t pop their whiteheads with a compass they used in high school.(Bennet Brauer/Chris Farley) I'm a cool person, as far as I know (lol), looking to meet some other cool people and the people they know, and their friends. I am a strength and conditioning specialist, sports nutritionist and occasional instructor of kinesiology. I was born in Upstate NY, out in the boonies, but I live in AZ now and love it here! I am philosophical and witty, but can be dumbed down for a price. I like a mix in life, from the one extreme to another, be it food, experiences or people (maybe even people as food.) I like to remain even-keeled, and I firmly believe in inner peace when it's at all possible.///////////The details of my life are quite inconsequential. My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low-grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15 year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims, like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy - the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical: summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring, we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds. Pretty standard, really. At the age of 12 I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it. -- Dr. EvilProfile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0

My Interests

Arts and entertainment, I love movies, music, games, sports (especially ASU football and the Green Bay Packers,) cooking, entertaining, Xbox, sports cars, classic cars, weightlifting, the search for knowledge, news, debating, teaching, reading and gunplay.

I'd like to meet:

Cool people who like to go out and be social, also kick back and relax. I like to experience new things, including food, music and culture. I enjoy meeting people in relaxing environments where everyone is having a good time and is easy to talk with. I would love to find the right woman at some point, someone to share experiences with, who I could truly give my heart to. The search continues, or is it the saga? If I had a chance to meet an influential person, it would be the Dalai Lama as his mix of old world pragmatism, well-rounded philosphy and interest in modern science make him one hell of a interesting person. Bill Gates, Lucy Lui, and my boys from AC/DC might not be bad either.

Music:

My favorite band has always been AC/DC, hell, I used to have their tattoo as well. I like all kinds of music however, having grown up in a family where all kinds of music were represented. My dad puts on a music festival each year (go Middlesex Music Festival!) so I like everything from blues to bluegrass to folk to country to rock to heavy metal to pop to hip hop to dance to classical to ethnic and instrumental, and I love classical Spanish guitar as well. I want Mariachis at my wedding and bagpipes at my funeral, that's all!

Movies:

Let's see, my favorite movie is Braveheart, but I love all kinds of movies: Forrest Gump, Groundhog Day, "Planes, Trains and Automobiles," Uncle Buck, Tommy Boy, Crash, Schindler's List, Shawshank Redemption, Silence of the Lambs, Office Space, Happy Gilmore, Caddyshack, What the Bleep do we Know, Breakfast Club, etc... etc... etc.... I like movies of all kinds, as long as they're good! lol Best movie of 2007 was Charlie Wilson's War.

Television:

I love to learn while I'm watching TV, so the History Channel, TLC and Discovery, Disc. Health, Disc. Science, National Geographic, Food Network and the Military Channel are my favorites. I love news as well. My favorite shows Curb Your Enthusiasm, sadly Six Feet Under (now gone), and I like The Shield, South Park, Rescue Me, Damages, and Nip/Tuck as well. Who doesn't love the first three weeks of American Idol as well? I hate the rest of the show, but the auditions are classic!

Books:

I love Tom Clancy, Dick Marcinko, and Stephen King. Most recently, I read Why People Believe Weird Things by Michael Shermer, it was a great introspective on the fundamentals of belief structures and argument, but it was a slow read. I am currently reading the Bible just to be able to say I did it, though I am an agnostic. I like books that capture your attention and hold it, making you want more. My favorite is "The Next President," by Joseph Flynn, the show "24" completely ripped it off!

Heroes:

Jesse "The Body" Ventura, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, Charles Darwin, the men and women of the armed forces, and of course Eric Cartman.
