I'm a a full-time graphic designer/prepress consultant and apart-time ballroom dance instructor.

My Interests

Ballroom dance, especially East Coast Swing, Cha-Cha, Waltz, and Foxtrot. I also do a little Mambo/Salsa but I don't know many variations yet. I did West Coast Swing on stage a few times but I've forgotten most of the variations I knew back then. =( I also love to cook and watch a lot of movies.

I'd like to meet:

Tom Hanks seems pretty cool, and Kurt Vonnegut...and I need to meet Monica Belucci because on my list of 100 things to do before I die, one of them is "Kiss Monica Belucci." Yeah, I know, but it could happen!

Music:

Everything...I'm eclectic. Right now I've been listening to KMFDM, Depeche Mode, Vivaldi, a lot of classic rock, and some Sarah Brightman/Andrea Bocelli.

Movies:

Mystery Men, Love Actually, Aliens, As Good As It Gets, John Carpenter's The Thing, North by Northwest, The Matrix, Moulin Rouge, and many more.

Television:

I don't watch much television except the news and Grey's Anatomy. Good show.

Books:

Schrodinger's Rabbits by Colin Bruce...Terry Brookes' Magic Kingdom series...I have a bunch of books I don't read but should.

Heroes:

Single parents...that's a tough job. Military people. I don't believe in the Iraq war but I believe in the people in it who are trying to do the best job they can under difficult circumstances.
