Invented for the entertainment and (spiritual) education of the inmates at Brinsford Young Offenders Institution through Prison Link ministry in 1999.Formed officially in 2000 with the intention of reaching further a field as an expanding grass roots enterprise. They have performed at the Custard factory in Birmingham, the Camoflague Room (with the Beatnuts) and club Dogma in Nottingham, the Greenbelt festival, Cheltenham, and Brinsford.'Atlantic' Harris has been involved in other music projects namely with Metalheadz, Bijork and Goldie. Dark Water Quartz has numerous works outside of COLD and a production company called Supreme Thought Production. Pythagoras is currently working on the 2nd C.O.L.D. album due to come out next winter plus his solo album- 'the Rusty Halo Effect'.
