Sugarfoot Media

About Me

Sugarfoot Music LLC closed it's doors on Dec 31, 2008. Sugarfoot Media will continue on selling SFM music.

Michelle Kinney is no longer associated w/ this site. Contact her through Jelloslave. Chris Hinding is the CEO of Media Rules LLC, operating Sugarfoot Media. We have not posted an official statement and some of our sites have not been changed over. The split is amiable. The decline of the CD industry has taken it's toll.
Please support Sugarfoot artists: AlphaBits, Justine Sasanfar, Jelloslave, and all of our partners listed here & there. You will always be able to buy Sugarfoot albums. There will be more soon.

FOR NEW ORLEANS
“FOR NEW ORLEANS,” is still available at music superstores nationwide including over 800 Best Buy Stores! [bestbuy.com]
Congrats to Dan Wilson for his Grammy! Dan's "I Can't Hold You" is available on FOR NEW ORLEANS. The Benefit CD features songs by Jeff Buckley, Natalie Merchant, Indigo Girls, The Jayhawks, Marshall Crenshaw, and PW and the Honky Heartattax (Paul Westerberg).100% of proceeds will be contributed to the New Orleans Musicians' Village. To date, we are still slightly in the red w/ the For New Orleans project, but we have hopes to donate some proceeds soon.

Justine Sasanfar and Jelloslave's albums are available on iTunes and other download services. The CDs will not have any more pressings.

Sugarfoot Media is continuing the work of SF Music. It is an artist-run laptop label, with the Internet our our storefront. Ten percent of profits from CD sales go to the artists' charities.

Justine's "Endless Song" (w/ Kids Against Hunger) fed families in Tanzania with over 6,000 meals. This is what music CAN do.

UPCOMING ON SUGARFOOT MEDIA
Sugarfoot Media may (someday possibly) be teaming up w/ Robyne Robinson on a project called [ The Best Of The Buzz. ] The CD and live concert would raise money for the Lupus Foundation. This project is on hold. The MySpace is cool.. like an internet juke box w/ choice music on it. Gotta like Des's kick ass intro!
Sandy Hinding & [ AlphaBits ] will have a children's CD distributed by Sugarfoot Media in time for their Summer Concert Series.
[ Jelloslave ] will be releasing their new CD very soon. It is NOT available through the new SFMedia, but it is SUPER! We encourage you to buy it (when available) from our friends in Jelloslave.
Justine will be releasing her second album. We do not have details at this time.
