In 2006 it was announced that Sony was going to make another installment to Silent Hill. It was aimed for a 2008 release. However, the directer for Silent Hill claimed he won't be able to do Silent Hill 2 due to work with other projects. The writer, Roger Avary, declined working on the second Silent Hill due to Gans not directing it. So where does that leave us? Will Silent Hill 2 ever make it to the big screen? As of right now it can be seen as "in production" for 2010. We can only hope that it will eventually come out.
