THE WHITE ALLIGATOR

I am the White Alligator!

About Me

I'm an aspiring screenwriter looking for a new agent to help me get my screenplay optioned, produced, and up on the big screen. I’m your typical starving artist and by day I also work for a not-for-profit company (but it covers my bar tab) that endeavors to provide services and advocacy for individuals with disabilities. I work with wonderful and compassionate people. And the best part is that I have my evenings free to write or drink or both. I enjoy jazz pubs, museums, galleries, movies, and just hanging out with friends. I like my drinks straight and my men gay (but not flaming). I like to write when I travel and I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their stories.

In 2003 completed my first screenplay, In the Belly of the White Alligator, which later attracted the interest of producer Lee Levinson in 2004. After several re-writes, literary agent Patricia Miller of White Orchid Literary & Talent represented my manuscript to HERE! TV in 2005 and it was said that LOGO may have had interest too, but sadly said opportunities did not come to fruition and I’m still working on getting my first screenplay onto the big screen. Recently I completed my second screenplay titled Swimming with Alligators and had a reading in NYC.

My first screenplay, In the Belly of the White Alligator, was reviewed and strongly recommended for production by Peabody award winning producer Lee Levinson.

“IN THE BELLY OF THE WHITE ALLIGATOR" is a powerful and compelling story about two men who are destined to meet as they embark upon an extraordinary spiritual and emotional journey. This compelling drama about the human condition is deftly played against a storyline that is laced with relevance, substance, and sensitivity.”–Lee Levinson

I am currently looking for representation, production and funding sources for my second dramatic screenplay, Swimming with Alligators. I own all the rights to both screenplays and they are registered with the Library of Congress and with the Writers Guild of America. For more information and for those interested, please feel free to contact me.

Oh almost forgot, I can cook awesome gumbo and really sweet jambalaya.
