I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I have been sculpting and studying comparative anatomy for over 14 years. I am currently a member of the National Sculpture Society, the International Sculpture Center, and a Lead Modeler for Penumbra Underground. I have two quarters left for my second degree. After that, I go back to the West Coast for my thesis and for teaching professionally. I derive unique pleasure from knowing that I have made a positive difference in the lives of other people. It is absolutely impossible for someone like me to blend into a crowd. I consider myself to be someone who is more beautiful inside than I am on the outside. I am primarily concerned with bringing kindness, pleasure and happiness into people's lives. I am unforgettable and unquestionably more than just your average handsome, intelligent guy. I am chivalrous, well-spoken and charming; a born leader and caretaker who understands I have a lot to give. I'm not big on talking a lot about myself, but I will say that I'm 5'8", with blue, almost white eyes, dark brown hair, have my act together, and funny.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

You, because you're probably a nutty weirdo underneath it all and you'll give me questionable ideas. I would hope that anybody of my caliber would appreciate my unique 'tilt' on the universe and my quick, off-beat humor. If you don't like laughing, then we are both in trouble already! I'm really not interested in particularly shy people, or anyone flaky who lacks a clear life direction. A 'typical myspacer' should not be emailing me.

My Blog

Where the Hell is James Johnson?

Wizard Cottage

Digital Paint Medium. This was an experiment with color and overall technique. The premise of the assignment was to design the home of a wizard. I imagine wizards to be focused, methodical people who ...

Vine Charcoal for Old Friend

This piece celebrates meeting and connecting with people in the most unlikely of pretenses. Though she'd carefully crafted her image the way she wanted to look, she looked just like a regular girl whe...

Argentavis Magnificens Study

You are looking at a digital skeletal reconstruction project I did of this fantastic prehistoric bird. According to the literature, the bird was so large, it preyed on and carried off a form of jaguar...

Monkey WIP

I think he looks a little like Shemp. Whaddya think? Obviously you're looking at a close bust shot of the same Yetti Model around the time I completed him using Zbrush 2. Since then, the new version ...

Monkey WIP

Again, very careful attention was paid in 'warming' the skin of the feet and hands. This character emphasizes the use of exaggerated haptic feedback to 'see' and communicate with the world aro...

Monkey WIP

Digital hands are, in my opinion, among the most difficult CG hustles to pull over an audience and get away with. CG fingers are usually copied geometry stuck onto a palm-shaped hub. So unifor...

Monkey WIP

It's very important to have a relatively clear idea in your minds eye of what the finalized piece will look like. Oftentimes, it's tempting to lose sight of your own goals for a character, par...

Monkey WIP

For this one, the reference photos of about 5 different primates were used to create my own brand of land-dweller. More like a Yetti than anything else, special attention as paid to skin ...

Poetry In Chitin I Hand Paint

You have already seen this model before, but I thought you might like to see what it looked like finalized and fully painted, sans environmental grime and damage. Shortly after I finished this...
