I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Don't expect me to leave comments on your Myspace page, if you want me to respond, write a message or, better yet, call me. I try to make good use of my time and am pretty careful about how much time I spend on Myspace.
Some things you may not know about me:
I like to shop at thrift stores.
I'm into music, but not the music scene; art, but not the art scene. I'm taking a class on silkscreening at the Atlanta College of Art and enjoying it a lot.
Lately, I've been painting pop art, like this:
About the art auctions -- I'll waive shipping & handling costs if a friend wins one of my paintings and picks it up from my house. If you want to see other works I've done, see my pictures.
I didn't want to be on myspace but my friend Tim started my page for me and I began checking it.
I won both the fantasy baseball and fantasy football leagues this year. The guys are sort of in awe of me now.
I used to work in an office but I now I stay home. If you can figure out a way to do that, I would strongly recommend it.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Pretty girls that read books; J.D. Salinger; Rich people that throw great parties; People that buy art; Oprah Winfrey; Peter Gammons from Baseball Tonight; I'd probably settle for pretty girls that read magazines, not just look at the pictures and say things like "I want those shoes." People who do what they say they'll do, who return calls, show up, have passions, enthusiasm, can tell a story, have a sense of humor, intelligence, empathy, appreciation of the arts, consideration for others, people who add to what's happening, who don't seem bored and still want more out of life. People who owe me money; I'm alright casually talking to most people as long as they aren't creepy or trying to sell something, which can be kind of creepy, so I don't mind getting messages from people, but my friends are people I really know, most of them for a few years.

It seems like the shows on WREK (Georgia Tech radio) are getting a lot better.  I listened to several shows last Thursday which were great and heard my friend Pat on the radio Saturday which was ...
