I'm probably NOT one of the people your parents warned you about, or at least I'm not the sort of person for whom specific warnings are issued. To start with, I'm the sort of person who uses "whom." That, in and of itself, is practically a god damn autobiography.I like words. You can do neat things with them. I like people who use words and use them well. I particularly like people who realize words are to be used in a specific manner and for a specific purpose. The fact that we are promoting the idea that words "you know, like don't really mean anything, much" goes great lengths to illustrate why society is beset upon by illiterate ass-scratchers.Other than that, I like lots of things, but that's below.
I'm also a die-hard libertarian. This word has a very specific meaning. Ask me if you care.
I Like to cook. I like Thai food, and Chinese (real Chinese, not the processed toad intestine passed off as Chinese). I'm trying to learn how to cook Indian food. This is hindered by A: the fact that I don't have a clay oven set into the ground, and B: I can't find half the spices I need, (have you ever seen how much saffron costs?!) The good news, is that I've progressed to the point where my food is only moderately inedible.
