Books of all kinds, music (I love going to the Symphony as well as jam out to a good song in my car!), working with youth (I am amazed at how simply profound they can be!!), movies and spending time getting to know people.
Pride & Predjudice, Garden State, You've Got Mail, Rudy, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Chronicles of Narnia, Aladdin, Now & Then, The Princess Bride, The Holiday..the list keep growing!
Hands down some of my all time favorites:Pride and Predjudice, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, The Chronicles of Narnia, Hinds' Feet on High Places, Captivating and The Mitford Series. In my mind there is absolutely nothing better than curling up in a chair with a favorite blanket and a good book!
I am absolutely amazed at my friends/family ( I am convinced that they are one in the same. DNA has nothing to do with it.)Those people in your life who mean the most to you. Stop and think about it for a minute... Who are the people who know you inside and out? Who are the people who inspire you to try harder, love more fervently and laugh so hard you end up in tears!? You know who they are. C'mon, now you can't stop thinking about them, can you? TELL THEM YOU LOVE THEM & THAT THEY MEAN THE WORLD TO YOU! DON'T WASTE ANOTHER SECOND!! These people are true heroes as far as I'm concerned. They may not be famous or have millions of dollars but they have something much more valuable--a piece of your heart!Now, I am off to track down my heroes...prepare to be loved!!
