Our girl Natalie Nicole Mejia is born on 7 May 1988, West Covina, California, USA. Natalie has been in previous groups before. She was a member of girl group Cherri from 2001 until 2003 and she was a member of girl group Breathe from 2005 until 2007. Natalie Mejia is of the Mexican heritage. Natalie attended Diamond Ranch High School and graduated in 2006. Natalie was also home schooled accumulating enough credits for her degree by the age of 16. She has studied dance since the age of nine at the Millenium Dance Complex and has been instructed by Shane Sparks, Wade Robson, and Ken Marquis in Hip Hop, Jazz and Lyrical. Natalie grew up in Diamond Bar, California. Natalie participated in "The Pussycat Dolls present: Girlicious," and won with 3 others girl which are now her co-workers in the group, Nichole Cordova, Tiffanie Anderson and her best friend Crystina Sayers. Natalie is now part of a girl group called Girlicious, which has taken America by storm.
In the early 1990s choreographer Robin Antin created the Pussycat Dolls as a cabaret act in a Hollywood nightclub. Since then the group has transformed into one of the most successful female pop groups in the world, selling seven million albums and topping the charts with five smash singles. Utilizing her expertise and eye for talent, Antin is doing it again as she launches a brand new girl group called Girlicious, featuring a new look, a new sound and a whole new attitude.Looking for singers with dance ability and superstar charisma, Antin and Geffen Records Chairman Ron Fair launched a nationwide search for the most talented girls in America. Fifteen finalists were chosen to compete for a spot in the new group and the opportunity to go from obscurity to international stardom. Thousands of girls lined up with the dream of landing one of three coveted spots in the new band Girlicious.
Musician Mark McGrath returns as host. Each week the girls sing, dance and practice choreography with Antin and Pussycat Dolls co-choreographer Mikey Minden, as well as perfect their vocal techniques with vocal coach to the stars Kenn Hicks. Hicks has coached superstars Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige and the Spice Girls. Having experienced this grueling process, members of the Pussycat Dolls, along with other surprise guests, will appear in episodes to inspire the young hopefuls as they strive to impress the judges, which include Geffen Records Chairman Ron Fair, Antin and Grammy-nominated recording artist Lil’ Kim.
At the end of the ten-episode series, dreams become reality when the brand new group Girlicious is formed and immediately record an album, film a music video, go on tour and earn a record contract with Geffen Records, home of Nelly Furtado, Mary J. Blige, Keisha Cole and, of course, the Pussycat Dolls. PUSSYCAT DOLLS PRESENT: GIRLICIOUS is executive produced by Robin Antin (The Pussycat Dolls), Steven Antin (â€Young Americansâ€), Ron Fair (Geffen Records), Laura Fuest (â€Beauty and the Geekâ€), Jimmy Iovine (Interscope Geffen A&M Records), McG (â€Supernatural,†“The O.C.â€) and Ken Mok (â€America’s Next Top Modelâ€). The series is from Warner Horizon Television, 10 by 10 Entertainment, Pussycat Dolls, LLC, Interscope A&M Records and Wonderland Sound and Vision.
