Zombie Joe's Underground Theater Group, aka ZJU, was born in August of 1992 in a small industrial garage in Northridge, California. The Underground continues to push the limits of live progressive theater as a vital experimental art form in honor of the famous Antonin Artaud. Now located in the famous North Hollywood Theater District (NoHo Arts District), ZJU continues to receive Artistic Director Achievement Awards and recently won Best Ensemble for Masque of the Red Death at the LA Weekly Theater Awards.
