Hello Everyone! Welcome to my profile. I am a sound engineer and a musician living in Los Angeles, CA. I play guitar, bass, keyboards, and sing. I'm also a savvy engineer with a keen ear for mixing. I work at Larrabee Sound Studios, a legendary recording studio home to some of the top engineers in the business. Larrabee is a four studio facility that puts out more top hip hop and R&B records than anywhere else in the world. Everyone from John Mayer to Kanye West to Alicia Keys' music gets mixed at Larrabee. I'm lucky enough to get to work with and learn from the people who define the sound of my generation. When I'm not at Larrabee, I work at a recording studio called Westside Pacific for a record producer named Al Clay. Last year we recorded an album for the group Uh Huh Her and later that year I went on tour with the band as their backline tech and monitor engineer. We also recorded and mixed a bunch of projects for artists such as Pink, Linkin Park, Backstreet Boys, Jenny Lynn Smith, Goodbye Elliott, Sam Beeton, and Grove Hill. In addition to the music projects we also mixed three film scores so far this year. Before LA, I went to school in Boston to study music production and engineering at Berklee College of Music. I ended up staying there for about five years soaking up everything I could and taking pretty much every elective class available that pertained to record production. Berklee was great experience for me but with everything in life 'it's what you make of it'. Originally, I'm from a small town east of Cleveland, OH called Chagrin Falls where my family lives. I grew up there and occasionally I get to go back and visit, but after about five days I'm anxious to get back to the city and back to work.
