I currently live in China with my husband. We are both English teachers in the city of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Before leaving the States we were working as travel agents for our own franchise travel agency, CruiseOne, which we still maintain while in China…thank God for the internet it’s possible for us to do! Back home in Florida I also worked as a professional Polynesian dancer. Even though I am not doing so much of my Polynesian dancing here, it is something I truly love, enjoy and miss doing.
I am Hawaiian, Filipino, Chinese, Irish and German. I love any opportunity to travel especially to other countries that I may experience other cultures and their customs, language, food, music, and especially their festivals, traditions, dancing and history. I am a huge lover of nature and love being outdoors. I really enjoy meeting new people because there is always an opportunity to learn something from them.
A major turning point in my life is when I became a Baha'i at age 19. Being a Baha'i is a vital part of my life now and I can't imagine my life without it. The Baha’i Faith is a world religion whose purpose is to unite all the races and peoples in one universal Cause and one common Faith. Check out http://info.bahai.org

Our trip to Huangshan, China
A 6 hour bus ride west of the city of Ningbo where we live, we stayed at the bottom of Mt. Huang for 2 nights. We took the cable car up the mountain & walked the rest of the way up for the most incredible breathtaking views. Our 2nd day we walked along beautiful streams full of gorgeous shaped stones, waterfalls & endless trees of bamboo.
