So my name is Brody. I have a twin, his name is Brady. True story.

I recently bought a guitar. It's cool. I have a girlfriend. She's cool, too. I run my own web design and tech consulting company ( Blazer Six ) with Brady. That's cool sometimes. I write on a country music blog, The 9513 . It was supposed to be my sister's blog, but I kind of took over. MySpace says I have over 400 friends, but that's hard to believe. That's basically me, Brody Vercher, in a nutshell.

God, college basketball & football, working out (I put on some pounds for a while there), DVDs, filming, graphic design, jogging, late nights, Stride gum, photoshop, San Antonio Spurs, superman, the beach, web design, your mom, black and white photography, country music, NBA Playoffs!!!, Longhorns, Texas, I'll never live anywhere else.

Music:

As someone once so eloquently put it, "I bump to country." I listen to just as much old school as new, Texas country is where it's at though. Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Hank Williams Sr. & Jr., Tim McGraw, Gary Allan, Roger Miller, Marty Robbins, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Waylon Jennings, The Geezinslaws, Reckless Kelly, Shooter Jennings, Lefty Frizzell, Kris Kristofferson, Rodney Crowell, The Randy Rogers Band, Johnny Horton, George Strait, John Schneider, Roger Creager, Kevin Fowler, Jason Allen, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Dale Watson, Wade Bowen, Drew Kennedy, Rodney Hayden, Walt Wilkins, Lucas Hudgins & The First Cousins...and the list goes on.

Movies:

This list could go on forever, but to name a few: Braveheart, Good Will Hunting, Boondock Saints, Patch Adams, We Were Soldiers, Remember the Titans, Tears of the Sun, Gladiator, Band of Brothers, Blow, The Emperor's New Groove, Legends of the Fall, City of Angels, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Patriot, Saving Private Ryan, Shrek, Tommy Boy, Training Day, Varsity Blues, Underworld, American History X, Man on Fire, Coach Carter, Dodgeball, Anchorman, Napolean Dynamite, Lion King, Glory Road, Shawshank Redemption, The Chronicles of Narnia, Munich, Cinderella Man, Batman Begins, A History of Violence, Ice Age, Tombstone, Million Dollar Baby, Unforgiven...I don't watch nearly as many movies as I used to.

Television:

I'm not big on TV unless it comes to sports. I'm a college football and NBA playoff addict/junkie, so ESPN is pretty high up on my list. Friday Night Lights is kind of addictive.

Books:

The Bible, For One More Day, The Last Coach, The Elements of Typographic Style, Coach Royal, ESPN Magazine, True to the Roots, One Heartbeat. You know, all that good stuff.

Heroes:

As cliche as it sounds I'd have to say my pops and my grandma, no contest.
