Born in LA, drove to Panama with parents at age 3 in a Volkswagen bug, returned to US in 1986 to attend Johns Hopkins, dropped out, kicked around DC doing tech work in theatres, married Ron, drove to San Francisco, finished BA in Biology at SFSU, worked in a lab, did some web design, drove back to DC in 2002 camping our way through the Canadian Rockies, completed Georgetown Medical School, now doing my residency in emergency medicine at George Washington Univeristy Hospital (still in DC).
