I'm too old for this

About Me

I like to talk to myself in a British accent when no one is around - don't know what that says about me!!!??? I think I'm very different, but not in a bad way. I kinda like me. I love my husband and son more than anything! (even more than Troy Polamalu). My husband's strength and ambition are my motiviation. He makes me feel safe and absolutely beautiful (no small task.) My son is adorable, super intelligent and has my twisted sense of humor. I just hope he can break his chapstick addiction before his lips fall off. I love football - grew up a Steeler and will die a Steeler (and an Ohio Statie!!). If I could change one thing, I'd be back in Ohio with my family. But this is were we are now and I actually am enjoying it. My life is more blessed than I ever imagined and I am extremely thankful everyday!hello there.

My Interests

I like to spend time w/ my family, travel, listen to music, bake, knit, read, paint AND WATCH FOOTBALL!!!

I'd like to meet:

Troy Polamalu, Frank Sinatra (too late), Jake Gyllenhall, Troy Polamalu, and....oh yeah, Troy Polamalu.

Music:

Wow - so many different types! Mostly Alternative (sinead, sarah, mazzy star, inara george, gary jules, ringside, Gomez, Death Cab for Cutie. etc..), also Amos Lee, Ziggy Marley, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin (steuby connection), Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet and Louie Prima - could go on, but I'll quit. Oh yeah - I have to add Lou Rawls.

Movies:

MOST FAVORITE - GOODFELLAS. Also, love Nightmare Before Christmas and for some strange reason I can watch "Somethings Gotta Give" everytime it's on (weird).

Television:

Don't like too much TV, but do like HBO series such as Sapranos, Big Love,John from Cincinatti, and The Flight of the Concordes. And FOOTBALL.

Books:

'Memoirs of a Geisha' for one, also 'The Liars Club', 'Spandau Phoenix' (anything by Greg Iles really) and 'Choices: choosing not to be a victim'.

Heroes:

Never really thought about it. People are basically very disappointing (myself included). But I guess I'd have to say definitely my husband. Also my Nana - the strongest women I ever knew.
