About Me

Stanley Cup Champs baby! ... Congrats Red Wings 2008THANKS for visiting my page, feed back would be greatly appreciated! ;)I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Born and raised in Michigan U.S.A. My parents were from Kentucky. YES, I'm gay and in my late 30's, but look younger (so I've been told many times). I'm 6'2", short brown hair, blue eyes, 175lbs, 34w, clean shaven, couple tattoos and ears pierced.I am a VERY caring, sincere and honest guy. Sometimes too caring and thoughtful, which causes problems at times and I usually get burned! I do prefer younger guys. I guess it's because I'm young at heart and enjoy the company of a younger guy. My last relationship lasted 2 1/2 years, more info in blog. I guess thats enough bout me ... if you'd like to know more, just ask.PERSONAL QUOTE: "I feel a real man is made up of what's NOT hanging on the outside, but what he feels and believes in on the inside"."There have been angels in my life. While they havent arrived with blasts of trumpets or a rustle of wings, Ive known them just the same. They preformed their acts in human guise, sometimes borrowing faces of family and friends. Sometimes posing as well-meaning strangers. You have known them, too, when just the right words were needed. When a tiny act of kindness, made a great difference Or perhaps you heard a voice whispering in the night of sorrow. The words not quite clear, but the meaning unmistakable. There is hope"!FAVORITE QUOTE: "Good night and may God bless" ... I never saw this show until two months ago, and it wasn't half bad. It was a GREAT show before they booted off Derek Hough! What were they thinking?!? Alright, so I'll admit he was MY FAVORITE not to mention SUPER HOTT!!! Who would figure someone that SEXXYY and ADORABLE would come from Salt Lake City Utah, (no offense Utah).Derek Hough was born 15 May 1985. He moved to London England in 1998, when he was 12. His credits include the musical version of Footloose (1984), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Cabaret, Harry Potter's The Philosophers Stone, and as already played at the London Palladium. He's very musically inclined and created with Mark Ballas Jr (also musically talented), the band "Almost Amy". Below are some of his pictures.Band website: www.almost-amy.comMySpace: www.myspace.com/almostamy

I am dedicating my homepage to someone I hold close in my heart. His name was Michael Lee Ritchie, January 16, 1960 to July 26, 1993. He died from AIDS. He was 33.We grew up together and when I traveled to Kentucky or he visited here, we did everything together that kids do ... always getting in some kind of trouble:) .. just typical boys.I always knew he was there for me and I was there for him! Which is more than I can say about his family. He had "full blown" AIDS for 10 yrs. When he'd have to go into the hospital (which was 4-6 times a year), his family just acted like it was normal and NEVER would visit him or call him to see if he needed or wanted anything. They NEVER accepted his lifestyle and the fact he was gay. Each time he was in the hospital, the stay would be a minimum of 30 days.During his last months we became even closer, staying with him all hours of the day and night in the hospital. The first night I went to see him in the hospital, he was shocked to see me. When I left the next morning, I asked if he wanted/needed anything but he didn't want me to go out of my way but when I insisted he wanted some green apples. The next night, he smiled like a "Cheshire cat" when he saw the apples. Every night I brought him something that he wanted. We never talked about him (or I) being gay and never talked about him having AIDS. The closest we ever came to the topic was him saying that he did "something stupid one night, and I've regreted it every since".Before he passed away his wish was to walk in the Gay Pride Parade in Washington D.C. He walked the entire route! Shortly after that he passed away. I wish he was still here! I think of Michael ("Mikey"), quite often!! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 5 years later Remembering ... And NEVER forgetting!!! Did you know? • 1 trillion plastic shopping bags are consumed world-wide every year. • 120 million barrels of oil are required to make those 1 trillion plastic shopping bags. • Currently, fewer than 5% of those 1 trillion plastic bags are recycled. • Plastic bags can take hundreds of years to decompose in a landfill • Millions of mammals, birds and fish die each year by ingesting plastic shopping bags Awwww ... such a cute little mouse ;) White Sands, New Mexico White Alligator ... The following words were spoken by the late Red Skelton on his television program as he related the story of his teacher, Mr. Laswell, who felt his students had come to think of the Pledge of Allegiance as merely something to recite in class each day. Now, more than ever, listen to the meaning of these words."I've been listening to you boys and girls recite the Pledge of Allegiance all semester and it seems as though it is becoming monotonous to you. If I may, may I recite it and try to explain to you the meaning of each word?"Ime, an individual, a committee of one.Pledgededicate all of my worldly goods to give without self pity.Allegiancemy love and my devotion. To the flagour standard, Old Glory, a symbol of freedom.
