Hi we're Blank Canvas a young band based in Edinburgh.
We recently made our first studio recordings and we're now looking forward to playing more gigs and getting our music heard.
We managed to win Xfm's Rock School (2007) and won the chance to play Xfm's Winter Wonderland the supporting the Likes of Parka, The Twang and The Stereophonics.
Soon after that we got given the oppurtunity to Play the Barrowlands along with many other unsigned bands including the Apple Scruffs the Black Arrows and the Down and Outs as part of BOX's "The Next Big Thing".
We got some radio play with a live recording of one our tracks "Contained but not Controlled" being played on Jim Gellatly's Xposure.
