I'm a drummer and guitarist into rock music. I also write a few songs, recording them myself.
I've been in 6 bands so far: 3 covers bands and 3 originals. I play drums and some rhythm guitar in the band I'm in at the moment .
My most recent band as a drummer was an original rock band called Primitive Echo.

I’ve done some work with a guitarist called Zigi in Australia. We called the band The Great Divide!. Here's a link to an instrumental song we did:The Great Divide ....
In 2006, I was in an original grunge rock band called Dive and we did gigs in Huddersfield, Barnsley, Wakefield, and Bradford Rios. Our first CD was a 3 track called Superstar EP, and we had just recorded 3 more songs at studio24w in Sheffield for a second demo when we split up.See video below of me drumming with Dive at a recent gig:

One of the covers bands I was in was a Sheffield based rock covers band called Thin Air. We did 3 gigs including a sell-out fundraising event in Darnall, & gigs in pubs in Sheffield & Denby Dale.My first 2 bands were Mid Life Crisis which later became Krysis with a new line-up. We played 8 gigs, the last one being a 40th birthday party in Chesterfield in June 2005. Krysis are still going with a new singer and drummer.
I have been a mixture of self-taught and have had lessons from the drummer of Violinski (remember the Clog Dance in the 70’s?) - John Hodgson.
I would describe my drum style using a quote from Aaron Solowoniuk (Billy Talent drummer): “Fat beats & simple rhythm. Just something that will make people tap their feet hopefully.â€
