About Me

I have climbed a steep mountain these past 49 years. But now I am at the top.... I can feel the cool breeze, it feels as fresh as I had imagined it. With each breath I fill my heart with love for me, my Turin and my chulitos. Such peace I feel.... Such calm fills my body... mmmmm! .....it was worth the climb, at times so trecherous was the path that I almost gave up. But here I am, this is me and I like it.Click here for Myspace glitter graphics and Myspace layouts

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet the many women that came before me that struggled for women's rights. The stories that they could tell about the experiences they had, and most of all what led them to break away and demand their rights. I would like to meet my grandmother, on my mother side, and ask her who she was, what motivated her to get an education at a time when marriage was what women were told was their future.

Wounded Minds PTSD and Veterans

Veterans and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The effects on veterans as well as their families.

The THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY: "War and the Soul" by Ed Tick

ED TICK says that post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in veterans is not just anxiety-based. the trauma of war can destroy the very soul. The good news is that spiritual methods of traditional cultures can restore it for a return to a full life. Ed is the author of the Quest book WAR AND THE SOUL.Related websites: www.theosohical.org www.questbooks.net www.mentorthesoul.com/soldiersheart.htm

Iraq Veteran Speaks Out On War Crimes

Testimony from a former U.S. Army RangerJessie Macbeth, a Former Army Ranger and Iraq War Veteran Tells AllThis 20 minute interview will change how you view the U.S. occupation of Iraq forever. I cannot possibly recommend this more highly. An Iraq war veteran tells of atrocities he and other fellow-soldiers committed reguarly while in Iraq. I have never seen this level of honesty from a U.S. soldier who directly participated in the slaughtering of Iraqis.Excerpts:"When we were doing the night raids in the houses, we would pull people out and have them all on their knees and zip-tied. We would ask the man of the house questions. If he didn't answer the way we liked, we would shoot his youngest kid in the head. We would keep going, this was our interrogation. He could be innocent. He could be just an average Joe trying to support his family. If he didn't give us a satisfactory answer, we'd start killing off his family until he told us something. If he didn't know anything, I guess he was SOL."and"For not speaking out, I feel like I'm betraying my battle-buddies that died."Watch the video here.Produced by Pepperspray Productions
