YOU ASK ME WHY?
You ask me why do i care so much; and how can i adore someone i hardly know Remember when we first met; how indivisable we had become Our everyday lives slowly became one. We shared our emotions, our love, and our dreams. Now you continue to question why i care so much about our past memories that you seem to have forgotten. Because i love you then and now and never was one memory lost. Although, I saw you less with eac passing day, my heart longed for you to stay. I always new from the first day we met all i wanted, needed, and dreamt was you. So how could you ask if my feelings are true? Because at this very moment i breathe you, need you, and i write of you
LET'S PLAY PRETEND
Even if we are just friends ; let's play pretend pretend i'm your woman and you are my man like way back then when we were kids Even for one night; I hope i might catch your heart We'll play the part of Romeo and Juliet ; Cuz this night you'll never forget I'm not tryin to make you forget about reality, but let's make this dream about me and you ...holding hands and doing like lovers do so let's play pretend You can touch my hand or caress my skin; I'll touch you back cuz tonight we'll just pretend although, you're taken i'll be with you to the end as long as we can continue to pretend. and even though your smile makes me weak and your voice makes my heart pound, we'll just play pretend this go round. Then i'll hide my feelings away for another day when you decide to come out and play

How lovely to see a lemon drop moon,
Adoring a blueberry sky in June.
Mountains of chocolate all dusted in white,
Pure sugar icing, thus making them bright.
Liquorice logs are the bark of the tree's,
Angelica leaves that sway in the breeze.
Peppermint pebbles, a marshmellow shore,
Dolly mixture flowers, colours galore.
A cream soda lake and cranberry falls,
Little fudge houses with nut toffee walls.
Lollipop lamposts in soft treacle soil,
Sprinkled crushed peanuts a sidewalk with style.
Imagine the fun to visit this land,
Confectionary Island why? it sounds grand.

The same way I give my heart to him
The sadness and lonliness is only where this begins

Life Can Be Tough
Constantly full of circles
Until you've had Enough
Life is Full of Pain and Sorrow
Always wondering if there will be joy tomorrow
Waking up to the same Routine
Until you realize you are tired of the same ol' thing
You boost yourself up to suceed
and for a while things begin to proceed
as you hope they would
but you get knocked off your feet
because life is a hard battle to defeat
A smile one day, emptiness deep within
longing and waiting for another day to begin
Life can be tough, but in the end
just realize when one day ends
Another day begins..
