Things I love: happy songs; plumeria; surgery and blood n guts (my job); anything Hawaiian;my best friend (that's ..1); food from costco snack shop; spa pedicures; when someone cooks for me; the month of December; my neices and nephews; perfume; people who give good hugs; pictures (except of myself); watching football on Sunday (even if the Cowboys lose!); going to Ranger games; black forest cake; taking a trip (especially with my best friend!); shoes that make me taller; ice water with lemon; finally being 30; hearing someone speak Spanish to me (tu hablas Espanol?); pineapple; a red headed boy with good biceps;)
What I could live without: Dallas traffic; Abba songs; most of what is on TV (except for Grey's Anatomy); white chocolate; my gray hairs; WWF wrestling; anything with jalepenos; most beer; the month of August; stalkers, perverts, and anyone that doesn't look me in the face when they talk to me!!!; control freaks; migraines; wearing the same blue ugly scrubs every day for work; weather over 90 degrees; shopping for clothes; selfishness; religious hypocrites

My Interests

As varied and interesting as my friends.:) I'm a natural explorer/adventurer, so i'm always up for trying "the new" at least once!

Music:

A wide variety; anything that can make me want to sing along or that elevates my mood.

Movies:

Some faves: Anything that makes me laugh, like: 40 Year-Old Virgin; Wedding Crashers; Christmas Vacation; Gone in 60 Seconds; the Italian Job; the Notebook; Son-in-Law; Lord of the Rings Triology; the Muppet movies; Steel Magnolias; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Beverly Hills Cop....and lots of guy flicks. I'd rather watch Jackie Chan kick ass than Gwyneth Paltrow speak her fake British accent in a chic flick like Emma....

Television:

Not much to TIVO, but I do like reruns of Sex and the City; Friends, and Grey's Anatomy

Books:

Anything non-fiction....I like travel; personality books; "How to" books are great. In the words of the "40 year old virgin," "We have a great do-it-yourself section."

Heroes:

Gayle (as in Oprah's best friend...that's how I feel a lot of the time); I'm not an idolizer....I think there are great things about people I love. Can't say I put anyone on a pedestal.
