Science. Hiking. Computers. Books. Not comics, I'm not that kind of nerd. Sorry. Trivia. History. You fall asleep yet? Sports. Especially sports with lots of numbers, like baseball. Cooking, a bit.

Lois Lane. Actually I don't even like Superman. Batman is more my style. At least he was a normal person, with cool toys. Not some alien. Superman was an alien. Think about that for a while. So I guess not Lois Lane, since she's a xenophiliac. Yeah, now it sounds dirty doesn't it. Since I'm a geek, a dork, a nerd, whatever you want to call it, why fight this question? You know what I'm going to say. Kari Byron types. Natalie Portman in Garden State types. Maybe even Kate Winslet in Eternal Sunshine types. Oh and Scarlett Johansson in Lost in Translation, which I guess really means Sofia Coppola. Actually, you know what would be nice? Rita Hayworth. Like Jack White says, "She walked into the bar with her long, red, curly hair - And that was all that I needed." I won't lie.
Trance, Alternative Rock, White Stripes, The Strokes, DJ Tiesto, Gabriel&Dresden, Tool, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, Morrissey, The Smiths, Splashdown, Little Red Car Wreck, Portishead, The Shins, Rise Against, Silver Sun Pickups....that genre.
Donnie Darko, Office Space, The Shawshank Redemption, Contact, Silence of the Lambs, Requiem for a Dream, Glory, Gladiator, American Beauty, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Garden State, Dude Where's My Car, Little Miss Sunshine
Mythbusters, Good Eats, Family Guy, CSI, L&O, The Shield, West Wing, Studio 60, Weeds, random stuff on Discovery, History Channel, Dirty Jobs, Futurama that kind of stuff. Nerd stuff. Yep.
I read a ton of books. Lots of sci-fi. Because it's fun. Chick Lit is to fashionistas as sci-fi is to geeks. But I don't read fantasy. I also read anything Jared Diamond writes. I read assorted history non-fiction. I'll read cookbooks if they sound like a good theme. Books on tape are worthless to me, because I can read faster than them.
Thomas Paine. Galileo. Copernicus. Isaac Newton. Thomas Jefferson. Robert F. Kennedy. My mother. My father. My brother. Anyone who overcomes their flaws, who says "there's got to be a better way" and anyone who tries to better themselves and the world around them. I'm serious about those.
