Where to Begin…
Well, back in 1986 Danny Duke, Darrin "Blaqberry" Howard & William "Hu-Man" Fraize started to play music. Re-inventions of Kraftwerk and others, and it worked for a while. Then we got our first sampler back in 1989, we got some 'state of the art' equipment at the time; and really started to create our own songs.
Then the following year we started to use the Atari 1040ST (which is still in use by the faithful). After getting that, we really started to pump out the songs and by 1992 we started to broaden our music taste. We have always liked Hip-Hop, (Danny was as influenced by it as I). We started to collaborate with some Hip-Hop groups, (in fact, the "Nite & Day" name came from one of the groups we worked with). In 1993, tragically Danny passed away, and Nite & Day was put on hold for a year. But then, Danny’s brother Steven took over, and Nite & Day was on again.
At the age of 15, Steven started to play with Darrin. In 1995 they colaborated with William “Hu-Man†Fraize. In 1996 they joined Mike Weber, William Fraize(Hu-Man) & Greg Hatfield(Capsul) to form Of Nebadon. They released a CD called “Intelligent Fusion†in 1997, which got some very good response… (in Owensboro to this day, a car audio shop uses this CD for Bass Testing).
Well, things started changing in the 'Of Nebadon' group and the members went their separate ways. Nite & Day decided it was time to update their sound a little, so in 1999, Nite & Day had tracks to do a new album, but it didn't get finished because things where changing in the Nite & Day Group. Now, 7 years later, we are bringing some music that we thought was lost, (with some help from Hu-Man transferring a lot of the music from tape to the digital realm). We are happy and excited to give the music to the world. We want to thank a lot of people Johnny Hatfield, Jesse Snodgrass, Greg Hatfield, , Rodman Tolliver and so many more. We will have new tracks soon!!
